I
believe in furniture as art. Line, shape and color combining
to form a visual expression, one of simple aesthetic beauty.
I believe in furniture as crafttraditional hands-on
methods of woodworking. There is value in knowing that something
was built a certain way for its strength and visual impact.
In my furniture I have striven to find a balance between these
two things. With both art and craftsmanship as the driving
forces behind my work, I make each piece with an eye toward
detail and longevity. I hope that when you see and touch my
furniture you will appreciate both its form and function and
recognize that each piece is designed and built by an individual.
Like a work of art they are one of a kind, yet like your favorite
chair they are comfortable and easy to live with.
