In my Vermont workshop, I design and build custom solid wood furniture in a style influenced by Shaker and early American furniture traditions. Signature work includes my "floating back" Windsor dining and rocking chairs which are engineered for comfort. Tables, beds, and dressers are full of subtle details that make each piece something very special. My work is characterized by solid and true joinery marked by hand shaped chair parts, hand cut dovetails on drawers, mortice and tenon construction on tables, and building techniques that allow for the seasonal movement of wood.
