Sea-Chest

This Two Board Mahogany Mariners Chest was inspired primarily from rebuilding vintage racing speedboats. The hulls of these sleek craft often appeared to sparkle when the sun reflected off the water and onto thousands of varnished brass screw heads. These screws played a vital role in securing the planking against the inevitable punishment the boats would face in their focused, hard working lives. $3,925.00

During the last three years I have been developing furniture that fits what I call the "21st Century Metropolitan High-Style". This concept utilizes antique design principals and yields a very contemporary twist by merging traditional techniques with modern industrial materials. My new work is designed to be a logical, progressive step for people who have been collecting antiques and are now looking to make a shift toward a more modern collection.

After displaying my newest work at various national furniture and art shows, I'm thrilled to report that the comments heard most frequently from visitors entering my booth were "exquisite!" "unbelievable!" and, the ultimate in compliments, "you should be showing in museums!" I am confident that these extraordinary designs will fill an important niche in your interior decorating needs. My diverse home furnishings portfolio includes blanket chests, armoires, beds, hanging cabinetry, and more.

For a wider selection of furniture, an up-to-date schedule of national shows, a list of current gallery representation, pricing, or details about shipping and ordering, please refer to my web site: www.galleryfurnituredirect.com
